Hello hello, I am continuing my blog post from before! Gonna share with you on my Day 3 in Taiwan! 🙂
I really like Taichung actually, it’s so calming and the scenery is just my style. Heheh.
Anyways, third day, I woke up and went to the hotel restaurant for some yummy breakfast.
After breakfast, we met the driver at the hotel lobby whom fetched us to the bus terminal to take the bus to Taipei. 🙂
Was about 2hour bus ride.. and then we arrived at Taipei!
We walked to the MTR station, bought their “ez-link” card and took the MTR to Ximending station where our hotel was at.
Our hotel, Art’otel, was walking distance from the MTR. We walked about 15mins before reaching our hotel. It’s like apparently one of the highly raved hotels on a blog I saw so I decided to check it out. It was surprisingly quite mini and it’s like only one level on the forth level. But it’s located right outside the movie theatre.
It’s like artsy fartsy, clean and cosy. I really liked it.
IDK what luck we have, but on the first day when we checked in the hotel, I realised that our hotel was directly positioned facing the area where celebrities come on weekends to perform and all. And the day we checked in, it’s JAYCHOU coming to perform RIGHT OUTSIDE MY HOTEL. WTH, who would have gone to Taiwan thinking they would see Jay Chou. Although I’m not a fan of him, but i still waited around tgt with others for an hour plus to see him. (i mean free concert and its like the idol icon of Taiwan, so why not)
The guy on stage is him.. Not sure if you can tell..
Moving on!
We had lunch at Ah Mao Risotto cafe & the food was nice. 🙂
Shopped around Ximending and went back with our loots. Wasn’t as happening as day 2 cause we gave ourselves some rest since we travelled from Taichung to Taipei.. 🙂
Look forward to day 3 where we go on an adventure tgt to ….. Leofoo village, first ever Din Tai Fung and Taipei 101. ❤
