MJ’s 21st @Regent hotel

Hello loves, today’s post will be about my 21st birthday celebration. I’m just like everybody else, thinking whether i should host a 21st bday party since its like the only ‘big’ bday u are left to celebrate ur adulthood until ur next big bday which would probably be when ur 50, or ur 80 da shou. But on the other hand, i’m like its so expensive and difficult to host a party & its probably not that special what since birthday will come every year. However its still, a 21st & its like stepping into adulthood. It’s probably the only year it’s legit to host a party for yourself, to celebrate urself. So I decided to celebrate myself for the first time in my life by planning a 21st party. 🙂

Planning was not as easy as it seems. I never knew how difficult it is to host one until i tried it myself because u really have to look into the details and know what u want. And probably a lot of help is needed from ur friends and family so that it’ll be less tiring for u. Anyways it’s not bad la, just that its not easy either. I have no regrets though!

I started planning since probably around 3 months in advance (booking the hotel, cause i’m kiasu). So i did manage to get some early bird discount.. like four hundred-ish for 2d1n at Regent hotel’s executive suite room (88 square metres). It can fit quite a number of ppl, l invited 20 plus and it was spacious. 🙂 Oh yeah the service was really awesome too, we requested lots of stuff and they took the effort to meet our needs. (like lending us scotch tape, scissors, ice) hehe ❤

And also got some miscellaneous stuff whenever i saw things that i wanted at the party like pink designed plates and stuff. Anyways, enough with the chatting.. time to look at the pictures!!

Today marks the last day of Chinese New Year (CNY) hol!
Have school tmr, sobs.

I had an awesome time ice skating with my dearest siminy today.

I got some make-up stuff today too. And my first falsies- (my first time wearing it got judged until i never wore it til now. But now, I shall not care what others think. )

Recently,
I felt that time seems to fly past so quickly before I can actually slow down to enjoy it.
Time seems to be slipping past WAY TOO FAST.
Seems like there were so many people who were once in my life, once important,
are now no longer in this season of my life.
Which makes me kinda sad once and then.
Which is why i like looking back at photographs as they hold the memories that brings me back to where we were.
And I would miss them once in a while- often actually.
I think it’s a silly wish, but i wish that everyone whom were important to me would always be in every season of my life. But I guess it doesn’t happen that way.
