Short 3D2N JB getaway @KSL hotel

My short trip to JB staying in KSK hotel for 3d2n! Cause we needed to getaway from sg and have a break from the busyness of life. Mummy & ml went earlier in the afternoon while i went with fatty at night when we ended our work. 🙂

Reached KSL hotel at around 11pm~ and had FKC for dinner! (KFC in SG tastes wayyyyyy better then in MY)

Ending the night with a moisturising Mr Morita’s Mask! 🙂

Dinner at DShanghai, located in KSL mall level 2, probably one of the nicest dim sum i ate so far!!!

ml & I went for foot massage while mummy & fatty went for a body+foot massage. It was… painful+nice. But it wasn’t nice when its pain.. haha.

Mask again on the second night! Used the cucumber one, really hydrating. 🙂

Kuala Lumpur day 2 & 3

I can’t help but be amazed at how the cars are neatly parked.

We walked to lot 10 where theres this basement with loads of food inside to have our breakfast. Har Kau

Comforted ourselves with ice cream cause One Utama SUCKS.

Thats what fatty and her bf enjoyed at one utama. Nothing nice to shop so just eat loh.

The way back was too jammed so we took cab but changed to taking the train into town.

One of the highly rated restaurants in kl.. i don’t see queue around the other restaurants around but only this place is like filled w ppl. We had to wait for an hr before getting a seat.

Overall I enjoyed the trip 🙂 Thanks to Fatty for planning the trip & her bf for being the tour guide. Thankfully we had a safe and happy trip!! Its suitable for a short and sweet trip.

Roadtrip to Malaysia, Muar

On the way to spend the weekend at Muar, Bing xi dad’s hometown, to celebrate bx ah ma’s 85th birthday 🙂

Thoughts from the trip: It was quite a nice trip, I enjoyed travelling to Muar by car. Although we had to squeeze a lil on the car cause there were too many people. Being with his family was quite fun, all of them kept joking around and all. 🙂 It’s mmy first time to Muar, and i would never go there if not to accompany them to celebrate their ah ma’s birthday. So yeah, it was quite an eye-opener for me. I really found that the house at Muar was really interesting!! It’s so traditional- too bad i didn’t take photos at their place. Their bathing area was quite cool cause they can use the pail to bathe & the toilet was not gross as i expected. Muar definately had more things than i expected! I imagined in my head that it would just be a Kampong with mozzies, but unexpectedly there was more.. like shops & all. And for me, I was quite shy since I didn’t know most of the people there.. so yeah there were like 40+ people?! I don’t know really, just too many I was feeling claustrophobic at times.  

I liked the short 2 hours when we went shopping around the shopping mall, cause is like i can finally walk around abit with just Bing Xi and I. 🙂 We bought loads of food from the super market- we the piggies,  went to this shop called living cabinet which has many cute things so we got some cute contact lens casing, jars & a set of pretty thumbprint designed couple cups.  

We spent basically most of the time eating. As you can see from the number of food photos I posted. Haha 🙂 Before we left, we got to eat the famous+must eat Muar Bak ku teh. From what Bing xi told me, Muar is known for their yummy Bak Ku Teh & Otah. His family gave me otah back home for my family to try. 🙂 

My favourite time in Muar is probably during the lantern time, when i just hang around the kids playing lanterns to take photos of them with one of bx cousin’s DSLR  & eating food. hehe 🙂

lunch at Canton-i. This hongkong restaurant, kinda new and the food’s pretty yummy.

This is amazing too, must eat. the chee chong fun’s skin is like-a- crystal jelly and prawn is yummy.

Har gao~ not as good as i expected though.

It’s been a tummy-fulfilling trip to JB. We ate mostly. I bought a few items, got a cute teddy-cardigan and a flower-print skort, got some belated presents for Rag and Car, cute strawberry swiss roll, Tambun Peah, and other random food.

It’s been a nice day, needa pack my stuff and get ready for 2D1N camp~ Pray that i can get out of bed easily. Good night and sweet dreams.
